>>27985When you use tags, it makes the post look smaller and more empty, but if you inspect the post you'll see that the "blockquote" section of the post's html, which is supposed to contain the text, does in fact have content. That content is the tags obviously. So if you use the tags method, your post is technically not empty, you just can't see it's content.
If you use the alternate character method like you're doing now, there truly is no content in the post and this is reflected by the "blockquote" section being empty in the post's html.
