Well I don't disagree with your claim of becoming immortal ,(however I disagree with the God part as you can have all powers and still be under God ,but that is just my theistic opinions). The problem is that you sell it like it's only for hedonistic purposes instead of improving other lives.

TL;DR, the side effects are pretty bad, long term safety isn't known, so no it doesn't really work well in mice.
