idk man, I feel like construction work in general is very ungrateful. It might have been better during the reign of boomers but compaines remained frozen in time resulting in peanut compensations. . Im in civ eng school right now because I liked physics more than abstract math but I wish I went into comp sci. From what I hear programmers don't do that much work and stress pay/ratio is uncomparable.

Graduating with a civil degree next semester. Feels good knowing my future profession is literally the most practical engineering discipline and that I can literally work anywhere I want.

Well here in Switzerland Bauingenieur (civil engineering) is the worst paid of all engineers. Maybe go to Singapore?? Or some rich nation with a lot of land to build on???
