Absolutely. In the first place, it’s hardly fair to compare the Entity known as Canada to something as civilized as a “country”, but in essence I think this argument is absolutely correct in every possible way

Technically there was a piece of law added to the constitution a few years ago that allows the government to break up protests that impair infrastructure
Surprised they are breaking it out here though as it was actually introduced to make it legal to arrest indigineous people who were protesting against pipelines
