Again? When did it stop? Meme culture is pretty natural here on /ic/, (most) people don't try to force new things to feel special, so memes don't die, we have the same stupid memes we had since 2010. As it should, modern meme culture is a complete disgrace and brings up to question the validation of genocide.

It was posted by some anon in an argument when he basically got told to PYW and people quickly realised it wasn't his, but it's also just the representation of soulless generic concept art of the mid 2010s. The active anons on /ic/ worshipped concept art as a career back then so it turned into a way to shitpost against them and also to respond to PYW.

Not everything has to be the main protagonist. 90% of character and concept design are hte bread and butter generic guys. If this was the typical space marine on the side it'd be a perfectly fine design.
