Asians would see no reason for Westerners to draw in anime styles if that's not how they drew as children. If you asked the Asian woman to draw in the white woman's style she wouldn't find it easy to do it authentically, same as the white woman drawing in the asian woman's style. These are just the default styles of where they were raised.
