So yeah, I wasted a few hours trying to get a dragon right to help you out and I think I got to the root of the problem. Yes, normally the claws are human shaped hands but also they are a lot ticker and spread-out to give the impression they are holding the weight of the beast. imagine like the fusion between an elephant feet and a human hand with claws for fingers.
The way you do it they are too thin and flimsy and the way they are positioned it gives the impression they are holding no weight and the dragon is kinda floating. Solve that and give them a more quadruped posture and you solve a lot of issues in your work.
