Lets say that i have about 500$ and i wanna buy a graphic screen (the ones that can display while drawing)
Would it be better to buy a typical grapic screen like huion, xp-pen or should i buy an Ipad? What is going to be better for drawing?

I bought an XP-Pen but I got the Artist 12 and the screen is about a foot wide, so pretty small, and my neck was starting to ache after drawing on it so I just unhook the HDMI cable now and use it as a screen less. Works well enough for me and I've never really had any issues aside from having to download separate drivers when I used it on my laptop running Linux while I was traveling. It was cheap though, and it's been a trooper so far.

However I'll say this, if you can afford an iPad and the gay overpriced stylus, do that.

hard choice honestly, it comes down to what you want to draw with. personally I find the ipad limiting so I would just treat it as a sketch book rather than a real drawing tool, and a 22 inch huion is pretty nice to draw on, but you have some dead zone issues on the edges.

if you like ipad programs and are willing to pay subs for everything, go for it, I personally like painter/rebelle/realistic/clipstudio and 2 of them need a pc.

The Ipad you can carry around but you’re going to have to buy the pen separately. I don’t know if you can connect it to the PC and use it as a regular graphics tablet. The screen ones, Avoid wacom because they suck as a company

i'm using a huion kamvas 22, its pretty gud. I tried the ipad and it as a different feel, the screen is smoother and it's more like drawing on glass which feels weird. I think just buy a big ass graphic display, and draw with pen and paper when you're not home

A non pro 10" iPad + pencil combo is already $700 so you don't need to compare them.
EMR tablet like that huion have this problem >>6028191 but PC software always use these edges for UI so it's not effecting the drawing area at all.

on my huion 22, the edge that is effected is about a quarter inch from the side in tracking accuracy, and about 1 inch from the tip and bottom for angle accuracy.

Hey bro, I bought the Huion 22 plus for 500 off the Amazon Huion store this past Christmas, my fiance and I love it so far. Definitely consider it, it's huge with a nice adjustable stand. Very resposive too. No buttons but I never used them myself.

Just got done doing this on the /ic/ Loomis drawpile.

I have the same problem with XPPen15.6. It’s negligible since I don’t drag my pen to those ends.

This is my second work on the tablet that wasn't a dick and balls, trying to get better like everyone else here with real effort.

The guy's trying to make a choice, don't recommend him shit just to fuck with him because I know for a fact that you'd be butthurt if you were in his position for such an investment. It's a quality tool imo and unless you wanna back up your recc (a specific model) then fuck off. We can do a lot better without you here.
