What was the last version of Photoshop that worked well for you?
For me, it was probably CC 2019. My laptop is from 2018 and I'm guessing they stopped supporting the GPUs after that. 2019 is also the last time I could draw a line and not have it shoelace at the end. Not to mention a small, barely perceptible yet annoying lag. It probably doesn't help that I'm using an Intuos Pro from 2013 (PTH-651).
Adobe allows you to download past versions, but the oldest one they over is 22.0 I think, which is too new.
Luckily I found CC 2019 online and the only real problem was having to do the PSUserConfig.
I guess my point is that it's crazy how Adobe is so unaccommodating to people who's hardware is more than a few years old.
