If I wasn't self taught and had direct access I would just ask the instructor about the gaps. But I can't so the next best thing is just using other sources.
It also teaches you to link concepts between instructors. They all teach the same thing but use different terms or different proportions or prioritise different areas. For example my understand of gesture I think is greatly strengthened by seeing multiple instructors teach it because it is such a poorly explained fundamental but when you see multiple instructors explain it you can break down it down just from demos and the overlap between instructors.
