That said I really do hate how sexist Japan can be, just as someone who wants good female characters. It always sucks reading a shounen manga and getting shit like
>female love interest is ridiculously strong and OP>always sit on the side and does nothing because "it's a man's fight">never trains because she's a woman and just cooks cute lunches for the boys >even with her being one of the strongest characters in the universe she's a damsel in distress for the male MC who is objectively weaker than her It's just so annoying.
Some objectification is fine, if youre going to introduce strong ass women though let them do some of the fighting too.
