Train dexterity, observation skills, and learn perspective
Dexterity it learning how to control your hand. Start there because its gonna take a long time to actually be able to get good muscle memory on command
It takes 100 hours to learn perspective so master that as early as you can. Learn to draw like a designer
Observation skills can be trained at any level but don't focus on getting 1 to 1 accuracy until you've done a crash course on all the fundies at least once
I'm gonna tell you to learn the same thing at least 3 times from 3 different resources. That'll solidify your understanding
anime illustration is hard af, even people who spend all day drawing anime don't even do anything close to illustrations like in the OP
a good mentality to have is think less of "anime illustration" and just illustration. Learn to think like an artist
