>>6011651Because ink bleeds. That's it. Everything else is replicable in digital, but there's no replicating the actual fluid bleeding into the paper/canvas. There's no replicating a stroke that doesn't quite catch the ink, creating an irregularly broken line as in that image. There's no brush that can accurately reproduce all the little tricks you can do with physical ink, like flicking it from a toothbrush from an angle and so on.
But none of this means one can't create some beautifully inked work digitally, you just have to know what you're missing and figure out a way to make up for that. As always, skill is the issue, not the tool.
