>>6011356If you're sfw on Twitter, you aren't really looking for money. Chances are you're building a portfolio, working contract, stable job.
NSFW artists WANT the 9-5 stable job but are stuck, ironically much like pornstars "just getting through medical school." The great thing about the internet is you can't hear the depression behind the "Commission for [user] of their hot [descriptive characteristic]! :D"
I imagine NSFW artists probably enjoy the limelight at the respective cons they go to or the flood of admiration when they first post. Then it becomes the same comments, every day. The same horny people making the same horny comments. Doesn't matter if they're different faces, the comments are the same in spirit. But hey! you paid off your car! rent/mortgage isn't a problem! Oh, btw, when you wake up and go through your routine... you've got a stack of work that you haven't finished yet you lazy shit. The emails are pouring in from commissioners. DMs from horny commissioners offering nudes/IRL hookups don't stop. The same comments on your pictures rack up every day.
They become a blur. You start to notice the stalkers who build parasocial relationships even though you've only responded once with a "thanks!" Part of you tries to ignore it because they're hopelessly donating to your patreon. But there's the lingering shadow in the back of your mind. Remember? in your "circle" there was [artist] who got doxxed? Someone started following them? Maybe you should consider getting a PO box and having all your mail sent there. Maybe a new email too... did they comb information from you already? Maybe they're waiting, building up a blackmail portfolio. Or maybe it's just your paranoia LOL
