>>6004048Probably unrelated but can we all agree that that time period between the early 2000s to around 2007/2008 was pretty much the last time anime art styles and character designs themselves were still good? Be it popular weekly shonen manga like Bleach, FMA, Shaman King, etc., original anime series like Gurren Lagann and even motherfucking Lucky Star, the art quality and the art styles themselves were generally of an higher quality than sketchy shit like Chainsaw Man or even Jujutsu Kaisen (I particularly dislike how every character wears the same simplistic uniform in this one, makes it feel kind of boring visually) and the countless poor quality LN isekai adaptations. Seven Deadly Sins and Made in Abyss were some of the few modern manga with art styles and designs I really liked, but I can't think of much else.
