I wouldn't be as frustrated as I am right now if it was actually mine. I'm not skilled at drawing at all.
Picrel is my drawing in question. I've never drawn loose clothing before and it's maddening. I just haven't figured out how to properly weld it with the body while also being affected by gravity.

There are just a plethora of factors to take into consideration when drawing clothes that it's nearly impossible for a beginner like me.

You need to understand the underlying form first before you add anything on top. Drawing clothes, and understanding its folds and behavior is in a different class if drawing all together. Form is affected by what the figure is doing, simplifying forms such as the limbs being bent like a cylindrical tube will affect both the mass of the cylinder and the clothing with a half lock fold.

easy fren you are just a noob, as everyone has to be. i am an ascended noob sitting too comfy at mid/beg as /ic/chan would call it, and I wanted to help
drawing 3d forms helped me a lot to start putting figures together, super simple to start with. have you done any life drawing with gesture and construction? that gave me the most gains as a noob

You're right. I don't draw very often (once every 3 months average) and yet I still had the audacity to react adversely to negative reception.
As a beginner it just takes getting used to.

And no; I haven't done any practice of any sort other than drawing limbs and hands. I know absolutely nothing about anatomy, perspective and construction. I'm just really impatient when it comes to basically everything. So when I fail colossally at my first attempt I tend to quickly shatter.

It's entirely on me. I just have a terrible attitude which I need to adjust first before learning anything at all.

It’s like someone who just started playing soccer, and they played a few casual games with their friends, and then they ask if they’re ready for the world cup. And then answer is, well no. But that doesn’t mean you suck. It just means that these things take a lot of time and practice and you can’t expect results overnight.
