>>6004593>>6004770big artists, with a patreon or expensive commissions, the point is that an artist career is not really ethernal, much like if you are a freelancer, see how much the landscape has changed in 10 years, some names forgotten other instead are just 5 years that they became famous and making bank, being an online artist is not a long lasting job, you need to try to make as much money as possible out of it in the time that you are still relevant, or you find yourself at 35 yo, having done art for pennies and without a real security as can be a fixed job or some shit, and no one wants to hire you, but yeah the point is have a plan b to increase your income or a safety net if you aren't really making bank
