There are multiple options for brush cleaning. The core idea is that you need an oil solvent: oil is a solvent, soap is a solvent, egg yolk is a solvent (and furthermore, an emulsion, so you can rinse it with water).
What I personally do is to remove excess paint on a rag, then i quickly wash the brush in turpentine, in those special metal containers with a grid. This is really quick. Then I remove the turp with a rag. And finally, cleaning each brush once, twice or more with soap and clear water, until it's not greasy.
Turp can be replaced with odorless petrol or equivalent, or oil. For oil, maybe using hardware store linseed oil would be better than expensive artist grade oil.
Some anon here cloaked his plumbing by disposing of excess oil paint carelessly, which ended up drying down the tubes, so be careful about that.
