anyone else just not able to sketch digitally?
I kind of wasted like 2.5 years trying to learn to draw on a wacom intuos. Nothing really made sense and all my drawings were chicken scratched and polished into something passable
Eventually I just started sketching on a pad of paper and everything clicked, like almost immediately. gesture drawing, constructing with forms, estimating perspective, everything..
now if I ever want to make a digital art piece I sketch it on paper first, take a pic then trace it digitally, maybe cringe but it works
may not be "good" at drawing, but atleast im finally improving
anyone else feel this way? i cant even comprehend when I see those yt vids of people sketching digitally, that look as detailed as pencil sketches or better.
