Hopefully I have posted this thread correctly.
The more I work on an art piece it simultaneously looks more detailed but also more muddled. Eventually I get to semi-shading and it looks difficult to distinguish objects from foreground to background. For example the roof of the tea well pops out best against the empty sky in the back. But down by the ground everything looks like a graphite blur between natural and man-made objects. This happens with my character art, too. Please critique my work and I will listen closely to any advice. Thanks!
