When you breathe in, you draw in Prana, and when you breathe out, you cycle out the used Prana. So you are constantly connected to energy, constant self-renewing. That's the state you need to be in to feel and understand balance.
Repression of sexual energy does no good and will wreak havoc by coming out in unexpected ways. Repression actually leads to perversion and deviancy, as free flowing sexual energy is twisted up and bottled inside. Only advanced energy practitioners can willfully and intelligently direct their sexual energy into another area of life.
The key thing is to not be caught in being sexual. Treat it like hunger for food, you eat but you do not over indulge. You let the energy arise and you let it go.
