- his concept of CSI (which isn't quite the same as prokos CSI concept for gesture) which is essentially putting a dot at where you want to go (or doing the dot in your head) and then doing, in one stroke, a pleasing and confident curved or straight line, often even the straight lines will be slightly curved.
- this CSI skill makes remembering 2d shapes much easier, for example you can use it for anatomy to simplify complex muscles into 5 sided shapes. As you study artists you like you identify how they simplified their shapes in a similar manner and retain the shape design you like. Once you do this enough you will start pulling out shape design that you like from your memory, perhaps even subconsciously, when you are studying complex reference.
- his idea of 3D accuracy as a I said, which increases your speed of drawing reference a lot and sets you up for learning rotation later. It ties into industrial design (along with CSI), see scott robertson books, Sketching: The Basics and Peter Hans Dynamic Sketching for similar 3d accuracy systems.
and I'm only halfway through. I feel like someone should make a text version of what he says into a pdf with screencaps because its very dense with info and people obviously aren't watching the whole thing if they only get the 2d accuracy part (and then show grids...)
