>>5981954Bad idea and does not address the issue which is mostly in aplication. It will just have a layer of pure oil which is weak, likely to create textural issues, and more likely to brown. Oiling out is a stupid modern painting meme that teachers repeat because they do not know about the materials and consequences, and because most artists today use paint that are more likely to dry looking dull.
