The book, any book really, teaches a way to learn a foundational concept. Not every artist learns the concept the same way. There are many paths to learning gesture. The FORCE method is one of them. Some artists use it, some don't. The only way to know whether it works for you is to try it yourself. Grow a brain please anon, I shouldn't have to explain these things to you.
