All you have to do is learn to see those mistakes and not be lazy to retry until it looks ok.
And the more sketchy, the earlier you make and spot those mistakes, the less costly it is to correct them, so that when you have to add the details, you can do so confidently because all the important decisions were already taken.
It's careful, patient planning (which ends up being very short in duration) + a lot of patience to finish the drawing after the puzzle is solved. For me, this is where drawing gets boring and my biggest bottleneck.
