Is it for business cards? Merch? Billboards? Website? Where will people see it? You want it to be clearly readable even at 1" wide. Try it with other company logos, shrink them down tiny and people still recognize them even in greyscale. Strive to make yours readable like that too, if it works small it works when its big or from any distance. I think yours is too busy to be readable when its small.
