Only after I read the title "forest road" did I actually notice that road down there, and I almost feel like this image would be better without the entire top half.
You could study some composition principles, like the rule of thirds and whatnot and then try to paint something like this in a way that will actually guide a viewers eye across the image in a clearer path.
Technically that one big tree in the distance isn't exactly in a bad position, but it's far away and if you were actually following the rule of thirds, it should be standing a bit more to the left.
Maybe you could still move it to the left.
Idk why you'd make that one tree in the distance so important though, if it was me, I'd have the road take up more space.
