Why are Isayama's poses, faces and anatomy still shitty looking and lifeless after all those years he spent drawing and how do I avoid improving like him if I want to start making comics now? Inoue's art in Slam Dunk went from decently high-/beg/ to pretty good (even if not as good as late Slam Dunk or Vagabond) in just around a year from chapter #1 to #45 and he was on a much stricter deadline, and yet Isayama couldn't manage to get decent in literally anything else other than composition in over a decade.
Do some people intentionally don't care about improving their craft?
