It's fairly obvius how the AI "thinks while creating a piece though, it's still miles away form creating something that's not uncanny, and when it eventually does it would probably be quite boring.
I think this could be great for generating ideas and using as a basis for a design, but you would still have to know what you're doing, just like with photobashing, so the need for good draftsmen won't disappear.
Besides so many people have a hard on for traditional (or traditional looking, same for stylized stuff) art that the possibilities to make money will allways be there. It will change, as it allways have done, but a representational artists need to know the fundamentals will remain, as they have done since before the middle ages.
