Anon i know you're just a hobbyist so you're not aware but professional artists need to deliver lots of artwork in very little time, so having a bunch of workflow tools is pretty much a need

Plus, those types of videos make it look easy on purpose, blender grease pencil can be super tedious actually

cope, digital gives artists who only care about end results the means to achieve decent end results while also retaining the ability for people who want to be masters fundamentally to become fundamental masters

you can have higher respect for people who do things "proper" while understanding sometimes there just needs to be a product at the end that works and looks decent enough.

I've used a lot of zbrush and blender but this shit is pretty dope. I dont think it would be that good for any sort of finished illustrations but this is mindblowing for storyboarding. Can't believe I never bothered giving the grease pencil a try

I feel digital is faster but it's a crutch.
Traditional is slower, generally, but it gives you more skill in the long run. I'm sticking with 100% traditional even if it will be a pain in the ass for some things
