That is the foundation of social media, good and ill. The "low intelligence" comment does not give a good impression of him being welcoming, but dismissive and insecure.
As I said in my post towards the end, if you're content where you are with your artistic journey and are ready to settle, that's fine. Every artist has their own needs and goals with where they want to be, where they want to go.
But throwing stuff like this on the internet to see what kind of attention you get, then complaining when it goes sour, does nothing for him and others.
If he doesn't want critique, he should make it crystal clear. State it clearly in the header, post an additional tweet below saying you don't want it, or turn off comments.
