Are cheaper colic markers from Ali express worth it?

I always thought that comic markers were outrageously expensive, but surfing through Chinese websites I found a seemingly similar brand, Touch new markers

Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?

I'd say, make sure you understand the pros and cons of markers, and see if using watercolor wouldn't be a better option (it may or may not be).

I've tried cheaper markers but they generally don't blend anywhere near as well, even if they're decent. Ali is not going to have good markers. Check out some reviews if you want to find cheaper markers.

ohuhu are fine. the issue with the cheaper ones are they dont seem to be as vibrant and dont stay 'wet' as long for blending purposes. theres lots of videos of people doing same drawing/half the drawing in copic vs no names like this on youtube. i find the 80 pack still doesnt give you the right spread of colors. you usually want more of certain specific colors for whatever you focus on and they dont give you them. red for instance is severely lacking.

Beyond the answers that others have stated, the other issues with markers like that are lack of lightfastness and no regulation on the chemicals used to make them.
They'll cheap out and use shittier cancer causing agents in them due to lack of regulation

cheap markers go bad quick. one day you will go to use a color and it will be dried up.

They are inconsitent as fuck, you could buy a pack of 125 pcs and end up with 5 to 12, or even more of them already unusable or poorly filled with ink that will last you barely half of the meant lifetime.
