I have a piece in mind that would benefit from having an ornate frame like this, but I don't know what this kind of thing is called and how to find good examples of it. I'd like to make it much more complex than this and also weave a bit of a story with some creatures into the details, but I want to see something like that done well first. I'll appreciate any good examples of this kind of thing or some help on how to find them. Looking up "ornate detailed frame" just gives you actual wooden frames. I found this by looking up "celtic knot frame".
