>>5959745A very good feeling , i love it , i guess flattered and/or excited if i had to be more precise.
It means my idea/piece was so good someone took precious time out of their day to redraw it. Even if its just to tell me "hey ya form sucks here is how i would do it with better form" I still love it because I get to see another artists interpretation of my stuff.
I personally keep all the redraws/drawings I know are inspired by mine/fanart/whatever you wanna call it in a special folder on my computer.
Sending me a message to tell me that your piece was inspired by mine (so i can see it and know someone redrew my stuff so I can feel like I fucking made it for the day) and credit (so more people may find my stuff , even tho i dont really have a social media where i post my own work , other than 2 random discord servers and 4chan) , would be very welcome.
>>5959988I honestly dont understand why people get angry about it , especially when they are trying to grow , if you are trying to grow you want your shit to be redrawn by every artist (big name or otherwise) under the sun , not left to rot.
as far as i know the main reason lovecraft got popular is because a bunch of people used his stuff in their own stories , something he actively encouraged (and if i recall correctly a rich friend that published his works after his death may have also played a role)
