i have doomed myself by studying art i am currently stuck in a process of endless study sketches everyday while also being too afraid to try a "finished piece" again. i used to do finished pieces like 2-3 times a month and now its 2-3 times a year

I got over this by making a set calendar of things I wanted to draw each month in order. That was because there was always a new thing I wanted to draw though, and I combined my ideas into one poster thing. I’ve never been scared of drawing something bad though because I usually try to always make my work better than my last. Which is pretty sustainable as long as you try new techniques and use references
