I’ve seen lots of comments, primarily from the ESL professional contrarians, that attack the very idea of painting celebrities or famous people or powerful people. They attack or fundamentally refuse to understand the entire historical concept of realism portraiture painting. My question to (You) is: what the fuck do you think le Renaissance masters were doing?

Painting celebrities for posterity IS WHAT PORTRAIT PAINTING HAS ALWAYS EXISTED TO DO. Does anyone here disagree with that?

Like this is fucking 4chan and if anyone does anything subversive with corporate imagery there’s a gaggle of samefagging ESL shills hassling them for it.

Like I’ve painted hundreds of pictures I stole from Reddit celebrity jerkoff subs. My entireis a cheeky fuck you at celebrity culture and celebratory subversion and abuse of memetic images of rich famous people and copyright infringement. It’s what fucking 4chan used to be used for before the samefagging ESLs took over and started suppressing anyone that posted subversive imagery on their pacified propaganda board.

Like can some people here really explain to me outside of my bullying putinshills, what specific issue they have with abusing popular imagery to make subversive memetic art?

If you’re /beg/ id say like every throwaway face practice you do should just be some fuck off celebrity. Then it’s funnier when/if it looks bad. And it’s still potentially a product itself! Why not draw celebshit subversively? Why do you have a problem if I do?
