I'm okay with most of the fundies, but I'm having the hardest time with tonal composition. Also having trouble finding good instruction on it. I get you want to build contrast and all that, but all my work ends up looking like muddy shit. I can render okay on an isolated object, but it all goes to hell when it comes to trying to make it work in as a complete image with background and other compositional elements.

Most frustrating shit ever.
