I know a little, I studied for a while but nothing legitimate useful. I'm more interested in the reading part of the stuff, like reading underground manga nobody bothers to translate, but is not easy.

I don't believe is particularly necessary for art, so I wound't bother for this reason in particular, if you are an artist and are looking for better opportunities I would go french or even korean, if you understand were the market is going those are the big ones you should focus, Japan is far more closed to be an solid avaible option, unless you are a cute white girl with absurd talent, them is like your perfect opportunity if you don't mind the constant gangrape treat.

There's no need to learn Korean for that, companies like Line, and Lezhin give opportunities to westoids to become pro webtoonists.

All those 90s, and 00s kids that wanted to become a "mangaka" now can finally be one without learning Japanese, or going to Japan, they just have to color, and format their comics to mobile.
