I'm a complete /beg/ and I have no idea how to do color. Should I study color later after I'm good at constructional drawing? And is grayscale really that important? How should I start studying it? I want to make a good color art.

Btw I tried picking up James Gurney's book but I have absolutely still no idea how to actually study from it. Pic related is not mine
