Trying to research what direction I have to go in to get a visa.

What >>5945671 said. Not only that's more optimal, but also think: Why would a company go through the massive bureaucratic trouble and the tax expenses to bring someone from overseas when they can hire someone through the internet for much less than half the cost?

I'm sure the only people they'd go through so much trouble for are lead positions that don't even have anything to do with drawing. Such as creative directors, or other forms of team lead. And sometimes even those might work remotely.
