>>5945760It works with that in PS, but you would have to do a lot more noodling to get the same result i feel like. i'm not shitting on photoshop, but i just can't recreate the same "feeling" with it. It still applies the stroke in these layers. Being able to sculpt a basic shape with smooth blending and sharp edges at the same time is something i have never been able to to in PS.
That being said, you should use a brush like that quite carefully, allways thinking about forms and lighting, or you will end up with a result looking muddy, which i think is the main mistake people make, especially for beginners.
All in all it's probably better to stick with a harder brush (maybe with some texture), just look what people like anthony jones/robotpencil is able to do in PS in like 5 minutes of painting.
What you need to realize, is that it is a tool, and you use different tools for different things.
it doesn't mean shit if you don't know what you're doing. For an artist exploring the possibilities of digital media, this brush can be a damn good discovery if they struggle with smooth blending.
