What's the point of learning this abortion that doesn't even look like an actual pelvis? If it's about construction, the initial cylinder is enough. Proko is a hack and construction is a meme.

The perspective on that looks really off, not to mention that it's kind of a crappy simplification of the pelvis anyways. Pelvises are a pain in the ass though no matter how you slice it.

It's actually pretty close. It helps to make the visualization of a pelvis easier, and helps to figure out anchor points for muscles. Just drawing a cylinder won't do shit when you have to find out where to insert the obliques or leg muscles
