For me, Makima is by far the most unique and beautiful character design of the last decade
Her proportions are perfect, her work outfit really accentuates her form. The contrast of black and white. The high rise trousers and tucked in shirt. They accentuate her hips and her womb and also by extension her thighs and ass. The sheer black tie down the middle is like a leveling device. It works both vertically and horizontally at the same time to show you her proportions and curves. First vertically, by how much it drapes over her bosom. and stops short of her navel and pantline. Secondly it's working horizontally through the act of its "bisection". You are seeing the perfect mirror of her hourglass form. You have a straight line down the middle as the perfect reference point to notice the contours of her body.
And on top of all that button down shirts and slacks on women especially in binary noir colours are just very sexy. But especially on Makima, whose cold and stoic demeanor (only occasionally belying some hint of sweetness for the sake of persuasion, but always in control) goes hand in hand with this... almost neo-noir devil mafioso professional look she goes with.
Makima is very beautiful and aesthetically she is superbly crafted in all aspects. People who don't like Makima... Can you even call them people?
