Is kinda how the whole industry works, you create comics for a specific group of people, normally being weirdos like youself and they buy the comics without nobody really caring, so you can have characters and comics sole design to appeal to women, nothing more, even to men to and sometimes believe or not, both.
I know is crazy to hear this sort of thing with how western media works, but yeah, it can actually work and work pretty well.
