>>5938001I've been asking myself this question for a while too, since I'd prefer to avoid having a same face problem. I sketched this up and applied some of the things I've been thinking about.
>where a lot of her defining feature is her lump n bump nose. For the nose, there's no reason to not imply the bump which is what I did. I think you have to be subtle with it though, so it doesn't look like those overly done western noses. I'm not sure if I was able to achieve that aesthetic but I think it works well to differentiate this character from others at least. Like you said, if the nose is her defining feature, then you'd want it to be unique to the others. The two lines I added describes the form well enough, while not being too detailed (I think).
As for the rest of the face, I'm currently working on different head shapes, and probably could've tried to capture her head shape a little better. It's difficult since you'd have to blend it together with an anime aesthetic. I might've been able to capture her eyes better too if I spent more time on it, but I think it works for the demonstration.
Sometimes I like to add different lines to the lips to describe how they look like (Adding a line below and/or above the mouth. Pretty common thing to do in anime.) But for her since her lips are thin, I decided to skip it. I think this choice works well.
I'm not sure if I was able to capture the anime aesthetic as well as I liked, but some tweaking with the size of the eyes/nose and deforming the head shape a little might fix it.
