I'm going to try something a bit different and a bit selfish. At the start of the year I wanted to pick up drawing in general. But I felt my approach was aimless. I decided to focus on 1 thing and that is drawing portraits and wanted to dedicated 1 year to just doing that starting today. However, previously, I was finding it very difficult to retain motivation by drawing in isolation. So I'm just going to make a series of threads for several months of the progress here and the purpose is to just do this publicly.

Time will tell quickly if this would work for me or not.
