The recent drop in schizophrenic art quality on this board has made me lose faith in schizophrenic artists. I know that there are many talented artists that have suffered from this mental disorder. So this thread is dedicated to the art and study of good schizophrenic art.

I tried doing before, but is hard to fully express your felling trough digital painting. Is so technical and there is so little room for mistakes, all your strokes are robotic in a way, hard to get that good schizoprenic feeling like in expressionism.

This one was one of the best i could make, all the other ones just look like normal shitty digital art.

You bring up a good point, it is so hard to be expressive with digital. I tend to make do a glitched ms paint fake schizo style when I am so frustrated I can't properly express myself.
Glitchy abstraction just feels so schizo to me even though I don't think any actual schizo makes art like this.

Damn, that looks cool. Makes sense, glitched stuff it's the equivalent to schizo digital, I think you are up to something here.

Normally I just do a messy sketch and do a bunch of random stuff that normally I would think is stupid just to see the end result. I did this one for the thread, Hope OP likes it.

Look up the art brut style. The most significant centre which specialises at that is a Gugging gallery in Vienna, they have some awesome pieces in there

I totally agree. When doing a digital piece, I feel restricted. I think the lack of physical contact with the medium is to blame. And maybe a sense of a smaller canvas too, the drawing tablet doesn’t provide that much of a space imo

I see things that look very similar to this when I stare at carpets or other noisy textures. Is that a schizo thing? No idea if I'm schizo
