The style is not impossible to exactly replicate but you need to look for artists with a similar style in their portfolio - you hire a porn artist and wonder why the pose is lewd or complain about the Disney artist being too cartoony. Also hire people long term. Even copying an amateurish style takes time studying and competent artists rarely want their work to look worse than what they are capable off.
What you should have done:
- get OG artist to share work process (wips, speedpaint, tutorial)
- get OG artist to provide a reference sheet
- hire a competent artist with a closely matching portfolio long to draw for your project mid or long term
In the end I think you should just hire OG artist if you like their work so much
