Some artists focuse on drawing ugly characters, yes, Meatcanion is a good example but there a few animator that prefer to do ugly things since they are "funnier". For me is always some sort of cope, is easier to do something look uglier then actually appealing so people who don't want to put the work in this sort of stuff go for that.

If you are talking about things that look low skill on purpose, anything related with modern art after the 40's? 50's? Depends on what you consider ugly.

Oh, you have dementia. Is not a style, some anons appreciate it because it looks unique and stands out to the pre-establish "things that work" that most skilled artist do and adopt to their work, making things look far more homogeneous.
