How do I make it so that colours don't desaturate when I mix them? It makes it near impossible to render.

if you must use two or more colours on opposite ends of the wheel you must either give one priority over the other or use a harder brush/layer on top to prevent them from mingling

pigments are literally particles suspended that can undergo chemical reactions with eachother
also sometimes certain pigments aren't what they seem. like pink just being less red pigment ori why cheap black ink us just a really intense blue

Paint does that to a small degree, the green mixed from blue and yellow aren't that saturated like dedicated green paint. You will have to put in new on saturation color at the border.

retard it only does that on computers because the programmers were too lazy to square the values before calculating the mixed colour. if you were to combine red blue and green light, you would get white light, not no light. did you flunk physics?

It is really easy for me to color in trad while i can't compehend the coloring in digital
In trad everything is vibrant whatever the fuck i do but in digital if i put wrong colors everything falls apart
